Kissing and spreading Hep C

so I recently was diagnosed with Hepatitis C but a few days before finding out I did some rather heavy kissing with a girl Ive been dating is there any possibility I can infect her? should I stop kissing her until I undergo treatment and am clear for six months? any help would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I believe you have come to the best place concerning hep c you could possibly find.

Hepatitis C is a blood borne disease, so unless you were bleeding and your girl had sores or cuts in her mouth, you will not have been able to infect her.

Many of us here have had hcv for many, many years without knowing it and without infecting our spouses. So keep on kissing...
