Lab results can be wrong?

Lab results can be wrong?

As I approach the critical end of the 12th week of treatment and that critical VL test, and the decision to continue or end...Would you suggest another test for the VL just to be sure?  Like a few days later?   I know a lab test can be wrong.  Nothing is perfect.  What are your wise opinions
The start of another week end.  Hoping it's better than last.

get a qualatitive test in addition to the regular PCR. The qualatitive will simply say virus detected or not detected. It will not tell you what the viral load is if detectable. It is very accurate.

If you want the most accurate test use labcorp's NGI Quantasure (PCR viral load) and Ultra Qual (simple neg or pos)

As copyman stated, one group of tests is sufficient - you don't need a re-do.
Take a deep breath and try to relax and know that whatever happens, you will be OK.

the tests you list are both the most accurate tests available. They are both PCR's. You really only need one of these tests but you could add a Qualatitive test.

good luck
