Yep, know that feeling

When you are on treatment, you are "doing" something. When that is over, it's just a waiting game

Good luck to you

Wishing you SVR and a long and happy life!

It might bring some hope to you.  I did 8 weeks also.  I had some bloods done after 8 weeks end of treatment because I couldn't wait for the 12 weeks to come soon enough.  I was still undetected.  I get checked again in three weeks for my 12 eot.  It does help to know.  Gave me more hope that I might not relapse.

Good luck and let us know the results. Remember, the percentages are greatly in your favor for SVR. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to ruminate too much while waiting for your labs.

Just wanna say I understand that feeling of 'no pill tomorrow'....because knowing while on Harvoni (DAA's) we're undetected & then just being used to that routine. I started a daily journal the day I began Tx & checked med off at 6 pm nightly & just wrote something daily :-) I continue to do that ( w/o the pill check) lol... You're gonna be great. Amazing gift awaiting you~ SVR!!

Blessings to you,
Randy

ps. When I was awaiting labs.... 'A funny thing happened to me on the way to the forum'.....a forum bud popped me a message~ " THINK NEGATIVE..... in a positive kinda way ;-) all best of health to you

My Dr also has set a EOT24 Lab Appt & a follow-up appt with him for the results.  Since I am a very conservative person, that suits me to a T.  I think your Dr is just being 'careful' but I am all for that.  Only a supersmall group of people fail after 12 weeks, but with Harvoni being so new, I thing your Dr is wise.  Trust me, you will feel more comfortable that way, too.

Also, ditto what AWM saiD.  Hang in there, Hon!  It won't be long now.  P

Hey Mom, Lots of us have been where you are now....waiting anxiously for that EOT result and future SVR. We wouldn't be human if we didn't worry about that. But, the vast majority of us have worried needlessly. I think you will be just fine. Keep your eye on the prize and I hope the time goes quickly for you.

Thanks  pat!! I know this will fly by too! I just have to keep my anxiety in check lol. I will have a 4 week EOT blood draw then 12 weeks and my doctors office doesn't consider a cure untill 24 weeks EOT so I am really hoping this works... Sorry rephrase that ... I WILL BE CURED.

My how time flies!  I understand exactly what you are saying about being on your own after meds.  Those meds controled my schedule for 6 months, so it really felt like a loss.  However, I can tell you that you will adjust fast!  : -)

Let us know how the Blood Draw of today turns out, when you get the results, thne just marerk your calendar for 12 weeks from today, for the EOT12 Blood Draw and forget about it.

That time will pass rapidly, too!  As I said with tx time, especially for you with kiddos to 'keep you occupied'!  lol

Congrats on finishing tx, second step taken!  Won't be long now!

Blessings, Pat
