Has anyone been with someone for a long time where one of you has Hep C and the othere one don't?

I have been married for 40 years.  I had HCV and my wife never caught it.

I had a blood transfusion and got a tattoo in 68-diagnosed w Hep c in about 98 Tx 2005

Thank you all for the help,my gf found out she had HCV in Dec. and I don't have it.We have been together for three years.She has been worried about giving it to me throw sex but form what I hear it is very rare and I should already have it if she could.

I think I got hep C 30 yrs ago. I have been married 22yrs and my husband is neg. I also have a son who is negative

male.married 28 years . probably positive 35 years . found out I had hep c just 5 years ago.
wife and kids tested negative.

a friend of mine (male) did have it transmitted from his wife.if you think about it, thats probably more likely as a male would be  more likely to come in contact with a female partners blood than vice versa

I was married for 12 years.  Got it probably 20+ years ago.  Neither my ex and my son who is 14 now have it!

female, have had hep 29 years, married 11, swapped spit with spouse, have had unprotected sex the entire time, he doesn't have it.  He was more afraid of my Riba Rage.

My ex had it but I also had too many sources to have gotten it from myself than to blame it on him.  Neither of my kids do.

Just practice what's known as safeR sex (with the R at the end) and you should be just fine.
