Low White Blood Count

by seashell55, Jun 26, 2003 12:00AM
While on treatment I understand that our blood kind of goes crazy.  I have a question.  My white cells had dropped four weeks ago.  With a regimen of vitamin and eating better they went up.  They were hovering around 2.6.  Allergy season has swooped down upon me. I'm taking Alavert and now they have dropped to 1.6 again.

Could Allergies/medicine caused this?  And if so beside vitamins, eating good, and allergy medicine, is there something else I can naturally do to help raise the level?  My doctor is concern but feels we should continue to montitor the blood levels. At this time he does not want to cut my dose (1000mg). (which is a good thing).

Thanks everyone.

Jill
