I got the call yesterday. I go in Mon. to start the interview and screening process.
Very excited and nervous.
After reading the consent form of course I have a list of questions, however if any body here has been through this and has any suggestions that might help I'd appreciate and input.

  I am 1-b diagnosed in 2005..treated twice cleared both times but did not sustain have portal hyper tension and bridgging fibrous no ascites or varices.

I just finished the Abbott M13-099 clinical trial. I was the first one in Kansas City,Mo and was selected for the 12 week study. After 4 weeks, the HCV was undetected. I had minimal side effects...some nausea, slight headaches and that's about it. I go back on May 1st for my post followup and it's very promising. The Dr thinks that after some time, my liver will repair itself. I was between stage 3-4 liver cirosis.
