Maybe I can stop whinning now - I hope!

To all my great friends. Just a quick update. It's been a little over a couple of weeks since I have completed treatment. These past few days have improved a bunch. Energy has shot up. I'm eating and gaining weight, thinking clearly (or at least for me), no more shaking, sleeping really good the last few nights, Not going to pee every few minutes during the night, the ticker tape in my brain has stopped running, racing heart has gone away, worked on honey do's all weekend and spent a lot of time playing with the grand kids. Actually exercised Saturday and went bike riding. Head aches are completely gone for now. Food taste like food:) Still drinking a ton of water to help flush the stuff out of my system. If you ever need to reach me I am at vettehead1951 and the rest sounds like wahoo. The smart ones will figure that out:)I've already forgotten what the secret code was myself:) The three stooges (Beamishboy, Dyce and Dale) are looking forward to Thanksgiving more than ever. I hope this note finds all of you in good spirits and on the mend. With much love and respect. Your odd friend - Dale

You are done!   I remember you were really high at week 12 -- and your 24 week PCR was even higher and you cleared at week 38.  So how did it go _I mean other than the usual awful.  YOu did 72 weeks straight or did you up the doses?  Have you been clear since week 38?

Congrats on finishing a grueling treatment and I hope your recovery time is fast

Dale-ray, you are responding to after treatment better than I am.  I am 3 months past treatment and still feeling off and on.  Yet, getting better by the week.

Congratulations on getting better!

Jaroman, I haven't seen your emails in a long time.  How are you feeling?

Magnum, I haven't seen you post also.  Hope all is well with you.

You had me worried with the racing heartbeat thing. I'm glad to hear that's over.
I had a big list of honey do's this past weekend. Six family members coming to B'ham this weekend.
P.S. Don't forget, today is votin day. Vote the bums out.

I am waiting for my 3 month post PCR.  I did 56 weeks because I didn't clear until the 20th week.  I hate this anxiety.  I picked up the other lab work yesterday (the PCR won't be in until next week) and my liver enzymes are high - higher than they ever were on tx or even back to 1995.  Needless to say, I am concerned.

Other than that, I am doing great

Whoopee!  There is light at the end!  I am so happy for you.  Really!

Just be prepared for the sandhill walk.  Two steps up and one down, you may slip and fall down two or three steps.  Up you go again!  That's what I am finding anyway but won't rain on your parade anymore, lol.

miss
