Medical question

Hellooooooo community, hope everyone is hanging in there!
Ya know I just now noticed that I have broken capillaries all over the top of my chest area, shoulders all the tricep area
And on my cheek area. If you didn't know better you would think its a sunburn but it's not.
I haven't read anything about this before and it's def not a rash.
Anybody know if this is just another "fun fact" of EOT?!
Any clues....

Best,
Deb

Have you been out in the sun lately?  We have had some warm weather.

May dermatologist told me that you can get small broken lines that look like a sunburn from photosensitivity from sun exposure.    Which happen to me right after EOT.   FYI:  It may never go away.

Regardless, run this past your doctor.  Spider nevi looks like spiders.  Its unmistakeable by design.

Hope this helps

Does it look like little red squiggly lines? If it does, that is called spider nevi. They do not blanch if you press on them. While this is a common finding in Cirrhotic patients (think old man with the big red nose), in women it is often hormonal. So it is more concerning when found in males.

Deb, with what you posted before about your stage and grade and level of fibrosis, it might be a good idea to talk to your doc and get the info straightened out. If you are stage one that would point to hormonal reasons for spider nevi. If you are stage 3-4 then it may be from cirrhosis.

That being said, since I cannot see it, it is just my best guess saying it is spider nevi.
