Medication for Brain Fog?

Is anyone being perscribed anything for mental confusion? Mine seems to be of a pretty specific nature. I described it to a university psychologist and he seems to think it very closely mimics the effects of ADD or ADHD. I remember reading a couple people were trying ritalin in tiny doses--what happened? Are they using it in any of the trials? Strangely, I find that tying the belt to my robe TIGHTLY around my head sometimes relieves the worst of the headaches. The painkillers sure don'ttouch it unless i take enought to almost knock me out---and thats as bad as the headaches.
