Missed Ribavarin and Side Effects

I missed my Riba two days ago.  Two pills.  I made them up one more each day. I feel like a truck of bricks hit me. Today and yesterday I had a some energy, went shopping for memorial, talked to reporters etc.(SF Chronicle Sunday there will be an article and photos) then all of the sudden BOOM, I feel like a Mac truck hit me. I wonder if it could be the extra Riba or just one of the sx.  Granted I have a lot going on at the moment, I think I am going to have to hire some more help.  I can't do it!  I hate this.  My greatest friend who is 76 can work ten times the amount I can around here. He's been here all week. I had these Mac trucks hit me before tx,  but not since.  Is this common?  Could it be the Ribavarin?

My daughter-in-law counted my pills, after I counted wrong, said I still have two more than I should, not good. My Hubsband immediatly to the store for a pill despenser.  I do have ADD and quit taking the meds when i started tx. I figured they couldn't be good for the liver.

I am feeling useless and down.  I miss my dad so much.  I haven't really let myself mourn as I have been to busy putting together a celebration of his life.

I am lucky to have some very supportive family and friends around.

My peg came w/pill despenser this helps a lot. My wife keeps it full for me.[do to brain fog I have to stop a think what day it is at 3:00 am] LOL

I missed 2 doses of riba because of a shipping error with my meds and freaked out (anxiety i guess).  Anyway, my doc assured me there is absolutely no problem with skipping a dose or two, as long as you don't do it often.

get used to the fatigue it is normal. mine goes in spurts. many of us use those pill/day dividers to remind us what days we took them and how many. with the brain fog it really helps. i would not be too concerned if you miss a pill or two. we will take 1800 to 2000 of them and i personally do not think one day or a half a day will make any difference in the results. this site is great to relieve any anxiety over sxs. we all have had most of them. my skin is now flaking like crazy for the first time in 35 weeks.

My husband bought me a despenser that goes for a month! He put all my meds it. I think it will help when I don't remember if I took them or not.

My dad's name is John T. Anderson and they wrote a beautiful article in the obits in todays SF Chronicle. sfgate.com I think it is online, haven't checked. I didn't have to pay for it!  I will probably put mine in the Oakland Tribune for Tuesday, it they don't do an article as well. The funeral is Wednesday and we are having a celebration at my house afterwards.  I think I am going to hire someone that day to put the food out and cook some things.

Yes, I think the sx are hitting me, but I do get spurts of energy and hope to get my flowers in before they (or I, LOL) die. My dad was such an inspiration, he NEVER complained about pain. I wish I could be so strong.  

Thankfully, I am not teaching at the moment. I would be a horrible teacher when that Mac truck hits me!  

Thanks for all the support here,  not sure I could do it otherwise.  Most people really don't understand what we go through. I don't look like a Mac truck hit me, so how would they know?

Very nice, i'm sure your mighty proud. Theres a lesson we can all learn from that. Thanks for posting it. Before i lost my dad to bladder cancer up two to weeks before he always reminded me no matter how bad it seems theres always somebody out there that has it worse. Wishing you the best of luck to you going forward.

btw, I also have ADD but I did not start tx-ing until I cleared HCV.
