Missed doses

We need a little advice from those of you who are taking Ribavirin...my daughter and I have a bit of a difference of opinion!
If your Ribavirin dosage is divided into twice a day (400 mg AM / 600 mg PM), and you forget your AM dose...should you skip it altogether or take it as soon as you remember...even if it runs into the evening? Do you think it's OK, provided you get at least 6-7 hours before you take your PM dose?
I know that y'all aren't doctors...but what have you been told by your doctors?
I'm scared for her to double dose...but she's reluctant to miss a dose. Any advice/experience?
(I'm a 'worried (somewhat overprotective mom!'...)
