My new profile picture says it all

I was supposed to get the result from post 24 week pcr on monday june 8 but I couldn´t wait and phoned the hospital an our ago.

My NP was away but I talked to another NP a very nice gay guy( made me gay aswell ok not in that way but still) and he phoned the lab and I´m clear no virus detectable !!

I JUST GOT THE MESSAGE 5 MINUTS AGO AND I´M OVERWHELMED AND THRILLED  UNSPEAKABLE!!

Just wanna make a medical comment on this thread since I posted it on this side.
My SVR this second time around proves that I was undertreated first time.

Too little riba ? too little interferon ? too little time? it could be any of this I changed it all.
The dragon is dead long live me!!! LOL.

If my heart is warm its because many of you Americans are warmhearted good people and has managed to contaminate me.

I´m not gone I´m gonna be watching out for my buddies.

I really like you people.

I am new to the Forum but I share in your celebration!! God is good!  My husband is also SVR (you will have to fill me in on what that stands for but I assume it means zero viral loads).  He finished May 16 after 48 weeks!  We are thrilled as well especially since he is a Genotype 1a.  Congrats to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am recently wondering (but haven't looked anything up) about people who treated in the past and the ribivirin.  I think the current weight-based riba dosing has made a dramatic difference in TX success.  I also think the common addition of Procrit to maintain hemoglobin has caused much less riba reduction than in the past.  Your guess as to being under-dosed is probably correct.  It's going to be interesting to watch the success rates with the more current SOC treatment.    Again, Congratulations!
