N.A.S.H. (Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis)

Diagnosed with NASH approx. 8 months ago after liver biopsy.  My reg. doc knows nothing about it and I am having a very hard time finding a doctor in the Little Rock and surrounding areas that are extremely knowledgeable about it.  I have been given the run around for far too long, I hurt continuously, nauseated, diahhrea, joint pains, very moody etc. and several other complaints that go along with it and seems when I see my reg. doc he lets it go in one ear and out the other.  Im tired of being pushed to the curb and I NEED A REAL HEPATOLOGIST... if there is anyone here that knows of one fairly near Arkansas, please advise me.  Im so sick of being sick and not having a doctor that even acts like he hears me.

there were other sites mentioned. i did a search on hepatologists little rock arkansas...(see what you come up with). you may have to travel a bit, i do. but they offered to work with a blood lab closer to me for the monthly blood works...

its good to call the hospitals around you to get a reference and a list of hepatologists in your vicinity...

hope you find one soon and get the ball rolling on all this...
