Nausea From Treatment - Ginger Root

"Ginger root taken a few days before chemo therapy has been shown to relieve the incoming nausea"

This was after a study was done and announced by Brian Williams on the CBS Evening News tonight. It obviously would also relieve nausea from treatment. They did say that it has to be the root itself, not a supplement or Ginger Root capsules, et al. I'm not sure on how to prepare the root to eat, but I am going to find out now, because it also states that it can and has improved joint swelling.

I drink fresh ginger tea-when you get the root you need to peel most of it,then I chop it up in a mini chopper and lay it out on cardboard to dry(takes a couple of days)Then you can bag it in baggies(kinda looks like something I used  to Smoke way back when LOL ) Anyway when I want some tea I steep it in a tea strainer. Its got a wierd taste at first.Something you have to get used to. cindy

I have heard this before. I don't know how or why, but I have seen lots of studies and stuff that say that ginger really does help. Give it a try. It can't hurt. http://www.herbalsupplementscare.com
