They all look pretty good to me, but I'm not a professional!  I think that normally if there was an abnormal reading that the put a flag in there say "low" or "high"  or like a letter "H"  or a letter "L"  out beside it, or it would in some way flag it as being out of range.  Did you see any of those flags in there?  Your LFT's look good.  Your glucose looks good. Maybe somebody else has a take on them, too.

Hello, I was recently diagnosed and found a great site for understanding my lab work, maybe not all the numbers but it was great for explanation of the terminology.

The 'Bun' (blood urea nitrogen) is your kidney function.  the kidney's most important job is to remove nitrogen from your blood stream.

Your bilirubin, .6, is great.  People with jaundice have bilirubin >2.5 or so.

Albumin at 4.0 is great.

Ast/alt is a measure of liver function.  levels in the 20's are great.  Alt is directly related to your liver and is normally higher than ast.

You shouldn't have any worries with this report.

Are you pos for Hcv?

Well I am glad for the responses, and just have to wait till I get the doctors explaination of everything.   I am currently on week 39 of 48.  I just did not want the excessive weight loss concern, to  possibly pull me from treatment,   They ran all these test last week, cuz I have now lost 92 lbs. and all of a sudden the doctor is concerned.  I have to have a colonscopy on Weds next week.

the C-19 test was for tumors, but I don;t know what that result is either.. I should have posted the within ranges on there... I started off putting it on there.. but didn't finish will have to update it later. Just home from lunch .   the doctor is not in again till Tuesday, and I am not sure if he will be there weds for the proceedure or not.

So was just trying to find out if anything looked parculiar with any of the results.   I know the CBC and which ones we watch there, but he did 8 other tests besided.. What about my Thyroid ? is that normal range ?

DP,

Your thyroid looks great.  Wish I had your reading.  I had already had a broken thyroid when I started tx and was already taking .25mg of Synthroid.  Halfway through treatment they  had to up that to 100mg.

Finished 48 weeks of tx on 4/13/07
Hoping for SVR on 9/20/07
