Needle *****

Me and my girlfriend went to hospital for routine general check up...

theres a lot of needles without cap and one of the needle is very near to me...I noticed only when the needle already stucked my fingers. The blood went outside the skin.  I got the needle i take in my house i clean it and put in the hot water for almost 1 hour. so i noticed that the needle is hollow.

1. In my incident theres a risk of hiv? or Hepatitis?

I have never been to any facility that left used syringes lying around. Let alone, uncapped needles. Please explain why you brought it home and cleaned it. Something does not sound right about this.

Yes there is.  You cannot clean a needle with hot water you know that wont' kill anything. I'm not sure why you brought it home with you and put yourself in the way of more exposure.
