Neutrophils

Hello - I just got my results from my annual physical and my Neutrophils number was 46.8
Normal range is 50.0 - 80.0. The Dr. didn't say anything about it being low or that it would indicate any problems. What say you????

Are you treating for Hepatitis C? If you are, then it's common for Neutrophils to fall below the normal range. If you're not treating , the number you post doesn't seem particularly low and maybe that's why your doctor isn't concerned. BTW most of us here are patients, not doctors, but Med Help does have some forums where you can ask a doctor a question for a nominal fee.
