New medication that everyone is talking about.

I've read a countless amount of threads that talked about the new hepatitis C drugs that are supposed to hit the market in about 5 years. I've tried searching for more information about these drugs but only found a few sources.

1. Does anyone know of any sites that contain valuable up-to-date data about these new drugs?

2. Has it been proven yet to be more effective against all genotypes? Are the probabilities of getting rid of it still the same thus far?

I'm getting a biopsy done within the next few months and will decide whether I want to treat or wait shortly after that. I just am trying to find out more information about these new drugs before I decide to wait 5 years.

It looks like it provides some valuable information but I was just wondering if (somewhere else) it provided more data about each drug.

Does anyone know what are the more promising new drugs?

There is a place to find out about new trials...perhaps google Hep C new trials. or someone may come on that knows this site I am referring too. Are you waiting to tx in 5 yrs?  What are your stats now?  Welcome Drew to our forum and there are some other things we are talking about that can be added to the SOC now, like Alinia.  Post your  genotype, VL and stage...get some suggestions if you want. Many good people here to listen and help!
