Sorry you havnt gotten a reply yet. On the blue bar on top left under the medhelp logo, under the tree with all the different color hands yellow purple green, there is a magnifying glass looking icon. click on that to search this community for new treatments, sofosbuvir GS5885, There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that hopefully will chime in. There are a lot of good phase II, trials going on right now with the sofosbuvir in the mix. Its the next greatest drug coming along with some other new drugs. Im not that knowledgeable about the newest treatments coming but I did do 48 weeks with incivek, ribavirin and interferon. I am SVR. Personally If I had to do it over now and could wait to treat, I would be tempted to wait until something better was approved. Some can not wait. I was stage 2 fibrosis and felt it was the best time for me to get started. I WAS lucky to be doing the newest thing on the market the triple therapy with incivek. It was hard but I completed it and succeeded! I feel the incivek gave my treatment the added kick needed for me to attain SVR.
