Rev: your post to me seemed to imply maybe was was looking for alternative treatments.I want you to know that I am not looking at this stuff for alternative treatments for hepc. Heck no! I am asking to determine if there are supplements that will assist in help to improve the regeneration of the liver. I have already decided to go forward with tx. I want to have a list of questions to ask my hep doctor. From what I know so far, the treatment is the treatment. Love it or leave it. Also I had previously been taking a lot of supplements and now realize that I was properly doing more harm than good. ( iron and lots of proteins) I want to conclude what the best diet for me should be and what is bad. Apply one and avoid the other, that

It's so confusing when you read conflicting info, isn't it? My Dr. told me to take Vitamin E and C only during tx; a healthy diet is a must of course, and then there's the monumental task of single handedly emptying our nations reservoirs!

I LOVE IT!!!! teeehheee....and I am going to try it on the next full moon....is it when the moon is waxing or waning, or does it matter? I have been known to be unconventional at times.....heee heee hee....but what fun it is, isn't it? Your story about the hubby's participation is making me laugh, because I make my husband do something like that. I go up to him and ask "what is our family mantra"? and he says: "It IS happening, it IS happening, it IS happening"......as he rolls his eyes....(has to be said three times) :>)
Hey ....speaking of the "full" moon...my Mother, before she retired, worked w/ this funny, funny woman. She told my Mother..and this was years ago....that when there is a "full" moon, go out in your yard @ exactly midnight. Take the LARGEST purse you have and look up @ the moon, and say.."moon, moon; beautiful moon..fill her up, fill her up, fill her up." ( We ARE NOT weirdo's LOL )...and she took my Dad out with her, after she said hers..she punched him and said "say it"! He said, "me too'!!! LOL She said, no..you have to open your wallet and say the whole thing..."moon, moon; beautiful moon..fill her up, fill her up, fill her up"! So my Dad did it too!!! LOL
The woman she worked with said if you do this you will receive un-expected money with-in that month! Well, me @ my sister and family laughed at her...she had been doing this for a long time before she told US. She said she thought we would think she was CRAZY!!!!
Well, I was suspect about doing this....but the next time there was a full moon..I just happened to be spending the night @ my parent's house. At a few minutes before midnite...she told me "go get your purse, we're all going outside!" So WE DID. The neighbor's dogs heard us outside and were "barking and barking'!!! Neighbor's outside lights came on....LOL
I joined in...and I said it when my time came around...LOL We went back inside laughing the whole time!!!!! I will NEVER forget that nite, because I was in the hotel business @ the time. And NO KIDDING....about 2 wks later, she called me @ work. She said (because I always used their post office box for receiving my important mail ).....still do! But anyway she called me @ work and said, "you have 2 pieces of mail from the IRS"! I said , "oh no!" thinking...ya never get GOOD NEWS from the IRS!!! I asked her to open it, and read it to me. I HAD RECEIVED 2 CHECKS FROM THE IRS THAT TOTALLED MORE THAN $200.00, along with it was a letter saying I had OVER-PAID my taxes!!!!!! I could not believe it. My Mother has received $$$ for insurance and a few other places that she never knew was coming!!!!
So last nite Kyleigh reminded me that it was a full moon....we 3 girls..went outside and did it again!
We do it every time we remember. Before I went outside...it was about 10 mins until midnite...I called my Mother, and I said..."tonite's MOON, MOON nite! She said, "OH I'm so glad you called, I had it marked on the calendar, but I had dozed off in my re-cliner." We hurried up and got off the phone!!!!
When we took my hubby's daughter out last nite..she had never heard of it...she was laughing and so embarassed!!!! But she joined in!!!! ( her Mother might not let her come back over )...LOL when she tells her Mother what we did!!! LOL...IT IS ALL IN FUN!!!! But it was weird that I got that $$$ that time!!!! hahahah....I think maybe it helps that time may be warped during tx (and for a few months afterward).....it is kind of like the movie "Groundhog Day".....every day is the same...hahahah...by the time we all get our brains back, we hardly remember the day before......tx will just be a hazy memory...or would that be dream, nightmare....ah...what was I saying??? lol
Have you 2 looked outside tonite? Remember how I always say that getting outside is the answer when on tx? Well......Look Outside.....It's the Moon! It's a Full moon. A "Blue" moon too!! You are both too "busy" to notice, but that special moon has spirited you both back into the past....in your minds. I had read somewhere awhile back,,,no vitamin C but can't remember why now. Multivitamin with no iron for now...Iron is bad for liver and men store it more since women have menses. My hubby at time had a high ferritin level and I did some research and that is why the stop of vitamin c. Also,,,Don't use iron skillet to cook in,,,there is more and I'm sure others will post.
Sorry to butt in but I do not want to post a questions and use it up. I have been reading conflicting information about vitamin c. Some say take it as a supplement others say avoid it due to possibility of an iron build-up. What

It is interesting as you posted and were in your fourth week of tx......I think you will find it interesting to go back and read since you are almost four weeks after ending tx.....ironic...four weeks into tx and four weeks out of tx......Sometimes reading an old post like that puts us and our daily living into perspective. I hope you see it before it "puffs away back into cyber space"...It is the very last post someone tagged into from the Search mode, I think...Happy reading...love ya

No problem for me as I am looking out in my best interest and if I choose a wrong decision,,,then I can only blame myself! You are right in that these drs do not know what it truly feels to be on meds and this forum will give you that straight from the people. You say if you don't clear first month,,,what would you do? If you have significant 2 log drop or more,,take another test if possible in another month so you will know when you are "undetectable" then you will go so many months past the date you are undetectable or at least that is what I would do and I think alot of people agree here with that concept since we watch and track our own experiences! You have accumulated some amazing information,,,,More then most and you will clear this virus! I wish you only the best in your venture!!
