Nutrition and blood count

by Raymo, Feb 11, 2002 12:00AM
I've done three shots of peg-intron so far and it seems to be getting a little easier to take. My doctor says my red blood cell  count has dropped from 44 to 35 and we'll need to keep close watch that it doesn't go down much further. Does anyone know of a way to raise the blood count thru certain foods or suppliments?
I would hate to have to lower my dosages and maybe have to stay on therapy longer...Any thoughts? Thanks, Ray
