Officially Whipping Dragon Butt / and other post

Hi All

Just wanted to let eveyone know I made it through my first night.
I had a little trouble sleeping,aches and leg cramps but no fever,
all in all not to bad yet.I did have a bad headache all day and
night.
   I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Thank you both for the encouraging, cheer-leading words also!  You are in my prayers, and I will continue to pray, as I will still visit this site for a long time.  I have been helped by people directly, and helped indirectly by many others who will never know.  After next Friday- my last shot (not counting procrit) I will keep you posted as to how quickly I heal (I hope) and how life goes on.  It gets better from here & soon you'll be in my shoes.

me. Glad you made it to your last shot, now it's on to the SVR
bus. I'll be praying for you and looking forward to joining you  
on the bus after 47 more. Thank you so much for the encouraging

sunag- Hi! Congratulations on starting,I hope the rest of your
night and morning went well.I feel better today just a bit
drained.I will be watching for your post, let us know how you
are doing.  Take care and don't over do.


ambush-thanks for the warm welcome,it wasn't easy but I drank a
gallon of water yesterday hope thats enough. lol!!!


befuddled- Thanks, I hope your having a nice weekend ,if I remember right you went through some rough sx a while back.
I hope you are feeling better and the rest of your tx will
be side free.


Dottie- Hey! you got #2 down thats great were on or way. Let
us know when you get results of hep panels.I have appt. 7-6 for
my daughter so I know how you feel.Thanks for all your support.


Cindee - thank you for your support you have been through so much already and still have such a great attitude.I'll be praying your
new tx will kick dragon butt!!!

I was afaid also but ready to get started,I don't know the future

Debra, Hi and it's great to hear you're off to the races!!!!! I want to wish you the best in your Quest for killing the nasty 'ole drag________on!!!!! You'll be just fine and like some one said, it is a good feeling to know you've already begun to KILL the virus!!!! You will be in my prayers, and I wish you minimal side effects....remember when you read about all the bad sides....everyone is different!!!!! gonagetbetr, Okay.....shot #2...you are also on your way!!!! You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I want to also wish you the best in killing the nasty dragon!!!!! I hope you breeze right through your tx time and it will all be over before ya know it!!!!! And the dragon will DIE!!!!!! You've made a dent already in starting to kill your virus as well. I wish you very little or no side effects!!!! Somedays might be rough, but this tx is do-able!!! I had a hard time on my 1st tx and thought I could never do it again, but I have swallowed that word NEVER LOL and will start tx again soon!!!! I wish you the best!!!! i did #2 last night feel ok my daughter got sick and i had to take her to the dr. no biggie just sore throat. i went ahead and had them run the hep panels. worried until results come in
dont forget the water. I found distilled to taste much better.
keep fighting the good fight and we will succeed

Hey Great news that you made it through the 1st day. I just got my first shot 7 hours ago, and have slight fever, chills, and a headache, have taken tylenol and getting ready to go to bed (it is midnight now for me- i am on the other side of the globe)

I am so glad that your first experiance was not to terribly bad --- I hope & pray that your tx goes easy, as it does for some.  Doesn't it feel emotionally good to finally start the fight & be active in the slaying of the dragon??!!!!!  My best goes out to you!  Oh, Debra, I have 1 more to go!!  Honestly, these 47 weeks went by much faster than I ever dreamed!  I didn't physically have too easy a time, due to my occupatiion, but I took up new hobbies that doesn't take much energy, like beading & crocheting my Grandson a blanket.  It's unbelievable tx went so fast, and I pray the same for you..... YOU TOO CAN DO IT!!!
