Well , cando man , I came up with this name based on an email I got from a friend. The story is someone's little girl brought home this book where on this planet the mean ruler forced every one to assume new names based on certain letters placement in their first & last name. So mine came out to be Loopy Wafflehead another friend of mine's name ended up being Poopsie Cootielips. What a riot.

Beam me up, Scotty!  Geez, this is truly amazing.  Do you have any tricks for not losing fashlights like socks in the dryer?  Never can find one when I need it.

What is your favorite one?  Any hints on ugly brights ones no one will walk off with?  My magnums disapear.

The little dongle thing is a tube of Tritium. The same stuff that is used in night sights for guns. In Proctology, “night sights” mean a whole nother thing.
I hate to tell you this but the “switch” is twist on-twist off and the barrel is knurled aircraft grade aluminum coated with military anodizing type HA-III with a Rockwell hardness rating of 59.
Kind of brings the ouch factor back into play.

Well I gotta admit, I do like that little dongle thingie. Might help in the retrieval process, and aesthetically it sure gives a nice finishing touch. A guilding of the lilly if you will.

On the flashlight board, I am member 639 out of more than 10,000 now. I started in Aug 2001 and I have 2,500 posts. I found the forum while I was looking for a good price for a Surefire 6P flashlight ($48). Five years later and a lot poorer, I have about 30 lights. Through the help of the nice people on CPF, I have converted Mini-Mags to high powered LED units and modded a Mag 3D to darn near a spotlight. Here is a picture of 2 semi custom lights I have. The output is 3 watts from a LED and it has a two stage switch for low/high power. A tritium vial is mounted in the tailcap of the larger one for finding it in the dark. For size reference, the small one is 3 inches tall.

Algernon was a mouse in a study.  The experiment turned him into a very smart mouse but then he started becoming less and less and less smart/very stupid.  When I created my name, I was feeling major brain fog--like little Algie.  I won't tell you how the book turned out (if you haven't read Flowers for Algernon) but let's just say I'm more optimistic about my outcome (SVR or not).

They say that most of us with die with HepC not because of it.  Falling out of a tree with HepC would be one way...

There's a scene of some old rocker doing it...or at least Kieth used to, maybe he doesn/t need to anymore...although you wouldn't think so if he's falling out of trees...
