Someone bitter enough to intentionally block others from posting? I guess we all deal with our problems differently. Hopefully it helped vent off some of the anger.

hi everyone . I thought i'd never get on here. I have hep c and and have just taken my 9th. injection. I have no sides from injections , lucky I guess. I do have horrible sides when taking the ribavirin at night. My spouse Carol can count on me breaking down and crying one hour from taking it.I just got a letter  from quest diagnostics in california. Results say 587hiu/ml to 2.77logiu/ml. I don't know what that means, is it good . please do tell. I got another letter stating all my levels were fine and to continue with meds. Today I was told to cut down because I have Anemia. Such a let down , and I am a very emotional 43 yr. old male. I saw my regular doctor also today and she TALKED ME INTO KEEP BEING POSITIVE ! I WAS READY TO GIVE UP. IM A 48 WEEK GUY. I HAVE HAD ALL THE SIDES , THE FLU ,ACHING BONES BLURED VISION, can't write anymore, also when walking in the cold I break out with mosqito like bumps on my legs and I mean thousands. They all go away in the warmth of my home when I get back. I quit cold Turkey off oxycodones , legal from doc. and alchohol all at once. I was told not to do it but I wanted to live and to actually see life without being druged or drunk. This has been a blessing to me , and I see things in a whole different lite. I have an ex girlfriend who said to me . It all goes away someday...........So to those who are in bed sick , and I have been there. Get up and pump a lil iron or go for a walk . It really seems to help to do something . I have been there, infact I feel lousy today , but remember it all goes away someday . Even if you have to have to do meds for life. I also have liver sirhosis, that I will have to deal with in the near future. So sorry for taking all this space , but I have been trying for months. Keep your head hi and kick it's bottom other than it yours. Sidey P.S. Thanx for the convo I am all alone during the day, its hard but it's the only way for now. Someone please respond . Thanks New york! No I would never say anything bad about any1 here especially you! Although ther is 1 chap who was posting here I can,t say much for! I,m a very inexperienced typer and need to use LOL etc. when I,m commenting. Much luck with your tx.

Oh Good I was so worried that I said something that came out wrong. ONe of the problems with using the internet is you can't hear inflection and when I am joking around...it's like uh oh better put lots of LOLs and ;-)s around so somebody knows it!

I'm not that tough at all. I just hate this stupid virus that much.  I don't understand why bad things happen to good people and yet seemingly I see all these horrible people walking around on golden streets.

I want us all to kill this stupid thing and eradicate it from ALL of our lives - we are all (mostly ha!) too good to have this problem.  Life is full of enough of them already.

Thanks BB. No I have not started. Doc wanted to start tx but I told them I wanted bx 1st. Will talk to docs feb.8th, around 3 weeks after bx. Im almost posative I start tx after that. They were shocked at how much I know about hepc and the tx for it. Can only thank the good people on this forum! Glad to hear your feelig good. Your gonna do just fine!!! I still have some ? for the docs and if satisfied with their answers its off to tx land for me. Man that NYork girl is 1 tough customer.

ALL: Does anyone know anything about a trial starting at Harvard Medical School for non-responders using a type 3? Protease Inhibitor? My doc threw this out during my appt the other day as a possibility for me should I turn out to be a non-responder, but with so much else on the list to discuss, I forgot to get back to that and get details.

Why am I one tough customer?  Did i offend you in any way in the midst of all of the ribarage pmsing barrage of emotions of what went on here? I sure don't remember doing so and if I did I am one SORRY tough customer!

I apologize for whatever it is that has bothered you.  I'm usually Miss Suzy Sunshine around here...must be that time of the month (just kidding here with all these meds inside who gets that anymore).  Poisons running rampant - maybe  they are killing the dirtbag bugs!  :)

Anyway BEST of luck on the results of the test (it's easy) maybe you are so lucky you dont HAVE to treat? I couldn't wait to get started myself but i am a 2/2-3 and needed to now (well 24 years ago anyway!

On cbc would someone please give me the normal ranges? Would this also include enzyme levels? When I go to doc next month Id like to have my ducks in a straight row! Pretty posative Ill start tx after that visit. Been thinking hard about it.
