PCR

Can you please explain to me what a PCR level means. I have a memory lapse.

A PCR is the Quantitive test to tell the level or amout of copies of virus in your system.  the one my doc uses is Heptimax and it goes to a >5 some others go to a less than 50 or 600  I like the less than 5 as it really shows that you are UND.

PCR = Polymerase Chain Reaction, which is a technique for amplifying the RNA from a given sample so that it can be counted. Google for more, but its one of the pioneering techniques that extablished genetics as a significant branch of science.
