This is how it went for me:
- Clinic visit on the Monday of week 21 I learned which dosing arm I was in.
- Had to wait until the PCR results from that visit were avaiable, which was around 9 days.
- After the 9 days, the one page summary of every PCR from the first screening visit through to the week 20 results was released. I got it by fax from my clinic.
- Since then, the twice a month follow up PCR results are provided with the rest of the lab results every two weeks.
Hope that helps - sorry I've been off the board for a few days, so missed your question.
APK - I was also wondering if you were UND since stopping treatment? As you're obviously ahead of all us you would have been the first to receive your first post tx VL results. I'm surprised you haven't posted your results yet, 'figgered you'd be all over it by now. ;-)
The PCR one month after end of tx probably doesn't mean much. Its the six month PCR that really counts, right?
--------------------------------------------
On SOC, most relapses occur fairly soon after stopping the treatment drugs, and in fact the one month post tx PCR correlates about 90% with the six-month (SVR) -- so it is quite meaningful. It's still to be seen if this 90% figure translates over to someone who treated with SOC plus VX-950 but I personally don't see a strong reason why it won't. All the best luck with your PCR and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for that insight Jim! Did not realize that there was any significant correlation between the one month post-tx PCR and the six month PCR. Great news!! Still, we'll be watching and waiting until the six month PCR, and probably doing the same until the 12 month PCR. Don't want to even breathe the C word anywhere near the family until its rock solid. Still, your news is the best I've heard in a while, so thanks again.
Be well.
