Paper cut

Hi,

I was collecting some paper from the printer in my office and I got a papercut on my hand.  I don't know how many people have handled this paper or if they perhaps got a paper cut too before me.  Can you get Hep C from a paper cut?

Thanks

There may be a study on How HCV has Evolved from Copy/Fax Machines to Email and now is moving to Facebook.

Hopefully the expert on this aspect, Copyman, will bring his opinion to the question. I wonder if a HCV transmitted via a copy machine would be more likely to replicate at higher speed than an infection via a fax machine.

Nothing as painful as a parer cut huh!  Actually the time I  near severed my leg off with a chainsaw was close....

Seroiusly tho.. handling paper at the office is a no risk behavoiur  and you could not contract HCV that way

Hepc is a Blood Borne Disease. Meaning it can only be transmitted from Blood to Blood Contact. If there was no Blood on the paper, you were at no risk.
