Passport health before travel

by welderman, Jul 14, 2006 12:00AM
I'll be traveling out of the country to do work in Haiti of all places. Next week we will be getting different shots etc. for travel. Is there any of these shots I should be wary of. I'll be startining treatment when I get back in Sept. I'm not sure what shots they will be giving us.

You may want to make sure that you've gotten Hep A and Hep B shots to avoid the possibility of a co-infection.  Although my doc required me to wait 6 months before final shot in each series could be given.

I travel all over the place and the only shots I got were hep a and b.it is a series of shots called twinrex and they give them to you in stages not all at once that is how my doctors gave it to me.Slow

Hep B shots are on the list but they require a series of shots so if you are going in Sept. you won't have time to do them all and complete the series before you leave.
Here is a list of the shots recommended for travel to Haiti
