Patient assistance

I would like to know if there is any other patient assistance programs for PEG-Intron and Rebutol? I was turned down by Comm. to Care because my husband got his Social Security back for 3 years and they say we don't qualify for help. He and I both have 1a and the only kind of insurance we have is Medicare. I'm right close to having cirrohsis and he is about the same. I just don't understand why Soc. Sec. back-pay should be counted. If we hadn't had to fight it for so long, it wouldn't have been near that much. Also I had a debilitating car wreck in '95 that has me on pain meds that cost $300 a month just for one script.Even a millionaire couldn't keep up with the cost of all mine and my husband's scripts.
