Peg-Intron/Redipen treatment denied 2nd time try

I was being treated wiyh Peg/Redipen had all side affects was the worst I ever felt in life.Dr. took me off becouse of sevear anger.My enzines was down to 75 in July 06,now in Nov its up to 1075 the DR COLON DIGESTIVE  specialist said he wont put me back on treatment that I had 5-10 years before I will need a transplant.What alternatives do I have left? I feel like he gave me a death sentence and his advise was eat healthy and exersize.

Get rid of him, he is not aggresive (aggressive) with cross treatment for the anger issues, that can be chemically controlled. I don't care if you have to take thorazine to calm you down ( you might shuffle around in your bunny slippers awhile) but if treatment is that important to you don't let one Doc dictate to you, he works for you.

Agree 100% with Cold Feet.  Find a new doctor - one who can work things out with medications or something.

I wouldn't take it laying down and would try and find the best heptologist you can (not a GI doctor like you currently have).  Find one who is a specialist who has dealt with this before.

I will start looking for heptologist. Thanks.My husband and I are both alcoholics. I had to be 6 munths alcohol free before starting treatment. not easy. My husband kept drinking ,that caused my anger.I felt like he was rubing it in my face.The DR. said he wont treat me again unless I live in seperate houses.Now that im off the peg It doesnt bother me about his drinking.But on I was becoming homisidal.
