Peg at double the reg dose

I'm a 1a whose viral load went up from 577,000 IU/ml. to 597,000 IU/ml. after 15 weeks of treatment. Today, as part of a clinical trial I'm going on PegIntron/combo at double the reg dose of Peg. I was taking 1,000mg of Rebetrol, but I'll now be taking only 800mg. While on the reg tx I was taking 1.5ug/kg, (microgram per kilo of bodyweight), of Peg, and now I'll be taking 3.0 ug/kg. 1.5ug/ml is the FDA approve max. I've been off of tx for about 2mo. now, and this will be like taking 1st shot all over again. When I took my 1st shot at the reg dose I had an extreame fever that made my lady friend want to take me to ER. I didn't take my temp, but this time I will since it was so extreame before. I've met a couple of people who were going on this trial, but nobody who had actually started. The idea of double the sides is REALLY scarey. I'll post again on this thread and let everyone know how it's going. Wish me luck. I'm NOT looking forward to this!
