Pegasys vs Peg-Intron?

I'm a 1a.  Does anyone know which of the two pegs is the best: Fewere symtoms (symptoms), best results?  Pegasys is a newer med but my doc wants to put me on Peg-intron?????? All that I've read, everyone prefers Pegasys....Anyone have a good doc in S.Fla?

If you are having to cut the Rebetol / Copegus (Ribavirin)
ask yor Doctor about taking either Procrit (epoetin alfa)
which is given to help chemo patients experiencing same problems,or any other therapy that is for the purpose of increasing red cell count.
My Mom is fighting Lung cancer with chemo and her blood counts were way down, her Doctor put her on a rx/tx to boost them and
within 2 weeks she could resume chemo!

It seems that Ribavirin is most effective if it is dosed at
10.6 mg per Kilogram of bodyweight!  Take weight in pounds,
divide by 2.2.  A 220 lb person weighs 100 kilos, needs 1060
milligrams daily or 1.06 grams - 5 capsules.

( I am considering redoing therapy for type 1b.  I did the pegintron, at 12 weeks undetectable, 3 months after 51 weeks Tx,
level back at 40% of pretreatment.  So I am considering Pegasys
because it doesn't run out on day 5 - 7, or dosing pegintron every 4 days)
