Please Help!

So about 3 months ago (2 months post exposure) I got got headaches, nausea, lack of appetite, and soreness, over the next few months i developed very sore muscles that will not go away, nausea, loss of appetite, headaches, and a pain in my right side.  I also have a numbness/tingling in my hands and feet, and a kind of arthritis and have developed a slight jaundice in my eyes...  Its only been 5 months since exposure!

A couple questions:
Is jaundice reversible?  Will starting medications improve liver conditions and get rid or help jaundice? What about milk thistle?

Is it possible I could stil recover?  Its been 5 months and I've heard 6 months is usually the recover period?  Could I still recover and not develop chronic?

Why would my symptoms be so severe already?  If it is chronic will I have all of these symptoms all my life, or will they gradually subside until it gets severe?

What are the pros and cons of treatment?  Do I have a good chance of "curing" it?

Please help, I'm sooo scared, I can't eat or sleep or anything, I just need someone to talk to....

You are very scared and anxious. You have many questions. One very important bit of information that you have not mentioned, is what type of hepatitis that you have. If you are not currently under medical care, you should be. It is obvious that you are currently suffering from an acute infection. Please text back with your specific medical information so that the readers on this forum may help you understand your condition better.

"Its only been 5 months since exposure!"

To?

I'm assuming HEPB or HEPC

HEPB more likely because you say 6 months period of time.... and "chronic".

Get with SteveNY on that.

However VX is right - you sound like you're in an acute phase and need to seek medical attention and advice.

Have you been to a doctor?
