Please help

I have had hep c for about 25 years.  My alt ast have always been around 150 and I am stage 2 out of 6 - my latest biospy score was 6 outof 18.  I have been experimentaing with herbs and nothing has lowered my alt/ast - nothing. One chinese woman's tonic sent mine upt ot 300.  Recently, I tried something called composition A (6 pr 7 chinese herbs in one pill).  My numbers came down a little after 1 month.  

Does anyone have any epericne with this stuff?  Also - what are the stats about me gettingliver cancer or tumors seeing I am in my 25th year (no cirohsis but scarring).

Your biopsy scores aren't too bad.  Many of us here have had this disease for 25 years or more.  Some of the members have tried Chinese herbal remedies and several have experienced increases in liver enzymes like you did.

The only thing that really works is the combination therapy of Pegalyted Interferon and Ribavirin.  I guess you probably now that, but there is only so much you can do with herbs.  I wish you luck.  I suggest you go to the archives and put in chinese herbs is the search screen..  The topic has been discussed in depth here before.
