Please lets getthings straight...and open

Can I please make it clear that i am an advocate of positive attitude toward all aspects of dealing with hcv(never give it capitols) I believe in the power of humour and fighting all the way with the support and love of others. My only point was that when tx is withdrawn/stopped there can be negative effects ,i've seen them and i've experienced them. I would say stay as positive as you can and take the fight to the dragon. The definition of the phrase withdrawl (withdrawal) syndrome is ambiguous eg cocaine crack have psychological  whilst opiates do because of the physical effects. The cocktail of chemicals given in combo has not been tested and so who knows. You feel great i did't but i did not give up the fight. If i'm notSVR i hope i find the courage to do it all again. And next one to question my positivity will get a toe up the Kyber pass!

Me to ,and that's it ,it's so personal. Even if not one of us had hcv on this site, so much to say so much to give it's like we need an excuse to communicate about ourselves and the bulk dont fit in with the medo-scientific-stats-trials view. It's just us under pressure giving and recieving love. Withdrawls that's my last word. Being a fallable human being that's my creed. I mess up loads and survive i also suffered enough to have me on my knees pleading fogiveness and i never want to go there again. Is life a joke, can we humour the truly suffering? Chev i will always give it my best humble shot and never turn my back on a fellow sufferer.
ps Me first you a close second.

"early this morning while doing the rounds
took a shot of cocaine and shot my women down

i stuck that luvvin '44 beneath my head

Early next morning i picked up that gun
had a shot of cocaine and i made my run
Made a good run but i ran to slow
They overtook me down in Jauras Mexico

Playing the hot joints taking the pills
In walked the sheriff from Jericho Hills
Peebee your'e name is not Sam Hall
You're the stupid hepper likes to play the fool

by gosh that mirrors how I feelreminds of that ole blues ditty I ain't got nobody, nobody loves me released in the late 60's early 70's .cant be sure cause the cool hash was in my brain.oooo another flashback. I know how you feel . sometimes even you can't stand yourself. I've always been a knowledgeable sort and used to suffer stupid people only grudgingly. Ive always been arguementative and able to prove my point aginst anything that irks me . In the last 10yrs. I have mellowed Or is it aged, like a good whine and have achieved a more holistic view of the big ole world. I still have distaste for the less challenged who never learn from mistakes but I can accept their right to do so. maybe the cancer caused me to awake or to accept the things I cant change.I know for sure the dragon has and I have continued to grow. Yes, lots o' bumps onthis old road but lots of fun and rewards. Gardening is for sure one as are grandkids (5 and counting). I hopeyou never lose your sense of humour or LOL. remain always the class clown and argue for the sake of arguing.Use your smile as an umbrella and get that mouthful of rain
all the best Daryl

I feel like a guy that's had h is life turned upsde down then spun for the fun.I've criedbuckets and suffersd paranoia to the extent that i was frightened of my wife and children. I started carring weapons and chasing people who forgot to indicate . I hated myself with such a viciousness thatevery thought cut me to the bone. I prayed and prayed and now it's re-biulding time, bin doing a bit of gardenin, walkining more slowly taking life easy. I made the big mistake of not excepting what i was going through, trying to carry on like i had a cold. In the end the physical demands caught up and the greif is still working it's way through. I feel blessed and very human and very humble.
PS But still acheeky sod with it. Bless you all!

WOW! This computer is really doing some weird things...so I will say this quickly...because I wanted to get this post to you. I feel exactly the way Amerbrit feels!!!!! I too have been left w/ some pretty "sucky" sx. I too when on tx thought I could never do this again....but as you know I'm ready to go again after relapsing....I am 48 yrs old and feel 90% of the time...like I am 90 yrs old!!!! It's hard to walk, hard to get up, memory is the pits, and it does suck! I too love your sense of humor and I'm so glad you are here! Please don't ever leave us! I did think at times on tx.I would give up and end it all! I am a Christian and I even had thoughts of suicide many X's. I think that anyone who has gone thru what we all have, has had those thoughts too. I'm happy I never acted on them......heck...I would have missed out on YOU!!!!!! LOL And I do mean that in the kindess way. I've never been to England, but have met some beautiful ppl from there who I am blessed to call my friends. I need to go, but I'm not done.

My friend and I introduced Halloween to 2 of our British friends. They had a blast!!!! Sam, you hang in there and remember you are NOT ALONE! I feel at times like I've been dealt a rotten hand of cards...but I will play them w/ a vengance!!!! I want to talk to you again. You are in my prayers....Love, Cindee

Don't you remember "sam"? He tried his hand at the forum a few months back.

Your post  on tx considerations was closed so I will post some urls to some studies on hcv conditions existing prior to tx, why some with little damage exhibit many of these and others with severe damage don't is puzzling to me.
www.medadvocates.org/diseases/hcv/extrahepatic.html.
www.hepnet.com/hkn/c21.html...www.geocities.com/HotSprings/5670/Disease/cardio10.htm

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=11218620&dopt=Abstract
That last url is not the original I printed months ago, but it refers to the same study of neuropathy manifestation without cryoglobulinemia. if  i find the original url, I will post it later.
TY for letting the newbies see the best side of tx,
be well
