Post TX headaches

I'm one month post TX. I just got a headache and have had it now for three days. Have anyother post TX'er experienced this. Is it some sort of withdrawl (withdrawal) from the Pegasys? I know it takes about 1 month to clear out and the Riba takes about 3 month. I finally gave in today and took some Tylenol.

I'm one week ahead of you and feeling much better.
Are you still drinking enough?
I'm not nearly as thirsty now that i've finished tx and sometimes forget to drink all my water.
If I don't drink enough I get headaches and feel ****.
Hope you feel better soon and congratulations on getting through 24 weeks.
Best wishes
Joanna

A neurologist can help find out if you are having a residual from the treatment, or you have something independ going on.

A three day old headache needs attention, so please see you doctor soon.

Ribavirin takes about 6 months to clear the body. In some people, it can take a year or so to recover from treatment.

I hope this helps,

thanbey

jevs2,
You are right I did stop drinking all the water and for shame on me I know I read that before. Just didn't feel so thirsty anymore and stopped. Thank you I will get back to the water.

Thanbey,
Thank you your comments are correct. I should contact my GI except once I completed TX he basically has written me off I will contact my PCP. Thank you

Everyone including Newbies,
Please don't let this post make you feel bad about your TX. It may be something else like Thanbey said. I feel so much better that when on TX its just a little thing compared to how you are all feeling now. Hang in there it is fine when you get done. I did forget about the water thing. It does help to flush out the toxin.

yes keep on drinking water. im still drinking lots of it 6 mon. after treatment but not as much.  i will always drink lots of water, everyone should.     my headaches took about 2-3 months to go away after treatment. fortunately they were one of the first things to go away.  but a bad one that lasts for 3 days  should be checked like thanby says.    mine used to be around my eyes.  issnt it good to be off treatment?  everyone gets there eventually and its worth it!!!

I get headaches everyday, some days are worse than others.  I take feorinal, I tried imatrex but I thought I was going to die and it never took my headache away.  Between loritab for pain and feorinal for headaches I take more drugs now than i did when I was a wild person.
You should go to the Dr.  I know I need to also.  They are worse being on tx.
Best of luck,
God bless,
Linda
