NO risk. Concentrate on Hep B cuz you DON'T have Hep C. Well let me be clear, you don't have Hep C from that exposure.
Good luck
Hi, sorry. I am not quite sure what you mean when you say " I battled hep 2 for 72 weeks " and ".I didn't doubt any of it for one second".
In addition, can anyone clarify whether the incident I posted in my original post is actually a risk for transmission of hepatitis? I accidentally pressed on my wound seconds after the needle has been retracted. Am I at risk if I had somehow gotten some blood on my thumb, that pressed on the wound? Should I even need to be tested in the first place? Thank you very much.
Please I've been in the hospital for four days now I have given blood, had IVs changed and everything else you can think. I battled hep 2 for 72 weeks. Today i had an endoscopy. You know what.............I didn't doubt any of it for one second.
Hmm...... So I should get tested because there is a risk of infection involved? Will the test be conclusive at the 3 month mark or 6 month mark? I was there for a Hepatitis B test.
You should get tested. By the way, what were you being tested for?
