I know this going in another thread. But because of my GT3a. And my issues have become digestive. No matter what the Dr.s give I cant get away from sever stomach and abdominal pains. Cant eat, and what I do eat refuses to exit my body. I have been in urgent care 3x in the last month. And of course given so much junk that doesn't help. Every morning I go through so much pain its making me crazy.
Today I bought some Nature Made triple Probiotics.
Could doing this be harmful, I do have a GI appointment, but that is not until the end of next month.

Hey there I agree with above posters, you need to contact your doctor tell them you are sick..more so than you have been before.
I am so sorry you are gong through this.
When I treated I did eat a lot of yogurt and did take acidolphilus to help with thrush I thought I had in my mouth.
I had many problems had to take promethazine to stop the gagging vomiting and nausea.  Not sure if that is what you are referring to.  I had diarhea for the first 12 to 15 weeks of triple

Hey Tim can you call and just ask if theres a product you can take, as everything else has failed. Tell him you are miserable. I ended up on Phillips stool softener. It's low sodium as I'm cirrhotic. You shouldn't be suffering this much. I was afraid to take anything also without the docs permission. I understand you've come this far and don't want to compromise your treatment.

I agree with Hector, others can wait, you are suffering now. Most good doctors keep an open slot for patients that need to be seen immediately. Make the call dude!!   :). K

What was your diagnosis at the hospital?
What did they give you to try to fix the problems with your digestive system?

Your GI is prescribing your Hep C treatment? Then she/he is responsible for making sure you don't have any serious side effects.
Tell the GI office it is an emergency and must see the doctor. Tell them you are in terrible pain and can't eat.
Others can wait. You can't. Waiting a month is unacceptable. If you doctor won't see you, find another GI who actually cares about their patients.
Be proactive an advocate for yourself.

I don't know anything about probiotics but i just wanted to say that i am so sorry you are going through this.  It sounds absolutely miserable.  I'd think your gi Dr would get you in alot sooner.  You're in my thoughts and prayers
