Provigil/Nuvigil for fatirgue and brain fog

by justme53, Sep 21, 2009 10:34AM
Has anyone been prescribed this med for fatigue/brain for on or off tx? My Dr. recommmended it, but it is another drug to metabolize. Still to be able to think more clearly and maintain my job would be great. Pro's or cons?

I think the decision to ask for meds for an effect of HCV or a side effect of treatment is to what degree is it influencing your activities of daily living. If its causing you to miss work forget important things in your life( forgetting or doubleing doses.Losing your train of thought while driving, then its time to talk to your dr. forgetting things like that could be lite threatining and should be addressed. Some people want to just try and tough it out when they really need to talk with  their doc.
