RESVERATROL Supplementation

Someone asked that I post this on this side...I do so hesitatingly...he he...at least the part that pertains to Resveratrol...fyi...

I will say this, Hepatitis Researcher has some good cred on this board, I think...and the one supplement he really is ga ga on is Resveratrol, he says he is finding more and more good info on it, but he's not *recommending* it to anyone, we just *talk* about this:)...made from grapes (why red wine is so good for you) if you want to see a Charlie Rose show that describes a lot of what Resveratrol is about...look for this show on the Charlie Rose website...

http://www.charlierose.com/home

you can watch this entire show on his website with flash, etc...

Put this following info in the seach on Charlie Rose's site...they talk a lot about Resveratrol

I know this is an old thread, but for anyone who comes across it via a search, such as I just did, there is new and not good info on resveratrol use for hcv. See link below:

I was just looking for information on use of Resveratrol with Hep C and stumbled upon this forum. The comment I wanted to add is that it seems that research shows that by adding other polyphenals along with resveratrol that it works 10 times better than just resveratrol alone. Dr.David Sinclair who no longer is on ******* Corp scientific advisory board b/c of a no comment contract with Harvard help ******* push the envelope when they developed Vivix.
The University of Georgia also helped in the manufacturing process to get a 98% purity. More info is at www.TryVivixNow.com

I have someone inquiring about info on Hep C...and will recommend Nutraferon but was going to check into recommending the reseveratrol Vivix. Has anyone used resveratrol with success for Hep C? thanks

Don't fret, you can only lead them to the water......
I think HR likes Life Extension products...if I could only find a moment to pull the website up and place an order.
Seeing the incredible results that goofy is experiencing, I must get on that stuff in a hurry.
Oh what the heck, I am 60, better start a garden and grow broccoli.

Why Reservatol when you can get the same benefits by drinking fifty glasses of wine a day?

Since I've been taking it, women stop me on the street to ask for my phone number. Flight attendants hand me  a second bag of peanuts with a wink. And I've noticed Moms at the pool adjusting their tops to shine more cleavage in my direction. There's something about it.

Seriously, my hepatologist likes the stuff too. I've been taking it for about a year.
