Rash

I recently got had a blood test which showed reactive for HCV. I had HAV 25 years ago; the blood test was to screen for a type of arthritis, which may have been the cause if a acute rash of purple blotches on my forearms and tops of my hands Only. I have had the rash for about 2-3 months, it has gotten worse and nothing I have tried from 3 different doctors has worked. I thought it was a reaction from the lung meds I take for Reactive Airway Disease, such as the Volmax, Serevent, Proventil, Prilosec or the Aerobid Corticosteroid Inhaler. I recently had an Ultrasound to check my liver, apparently it showed normal and I may have had a false positive reaction on the blood test. I also had pancreatitis in July...Do you think there is a relation between my liver and pancreas problems and this rash? My dermatologist suggested I stop the Serevent and Prilosec. which I have for 6 weeks with no improvement. Any insight or theories will be greatly appreciated.
