Ooo thanks alot my report made me so nervous i have been weeping since last night as i knew that hapatitus is transferred to baby from effected mother. In the report its also written
'' borderline result (0.9-2.0)
Borderline results are reported after checking on second instrument. These results show a gray zone. Some of these cases are due to early or recent HCV infection.while others may b due to episodes of HCV in the past. These pateints should have HCV tests repeated every 4-6weeks. This test is performed by ECLIA Cobas e 411 (Roche) utilizing electrochemiluminescene immunoassay''

What is this all??? Is this sumthing about me or ??? Plz kindly remove my this last confusion may God bless u.

Did the doctor that performed the test not explain or contacted you?

Also, transmission from mother to child of Hep C is very small, under 5%.

A borderline positive score for the test is between 0.9 and 2.0

Your score is a 0.1, not even close to being positive, it is about as low of a test score as you can get, stop reading to much in to it, you do not have hep c.

Have a great day
