Red Rash Side Affects What Questions Should I ask?

Hi, I found this web-site and would like to say that I am very thankful for each of you who has taken the time to share with others. I am not very knowledgeable about this Hepatitis C but plan to learn as much as I can. My wife is a Health Care provider and discovered back in July that she is infected. They started her on five pills a day and three injections a week. I do not have the prescription here in front of me as I am at work but it sounds like what most people are prescribed. This article caught my attention because my wife has the same exact rash as described here. Both of her legs have it and it appears to be starting on her arms also. Can someone tell me what questions to ask the Doctor? I believe our primary Doctor suggested it was side affects from the meds. Her rash is itchy and swollen and she has tried topical creams with no success. The rash is elevated above the skin surface like hives and is red. Any help or advice would be truly appreciated.
