Red plams and other symptoms

Hi all,

I have read that red palms is a sign og liver damage, and am quite concerend. I had a Hep c test, which was negative, i was efused a Hep B test as i was vaccinated last year. The doctors were initially concerned about a few of my symptoms, but now say it is all stress. The red palms are what really concern me, i had two liver function tests done about four months apart, and both were normal, does anyone know wether or not these tests would have been abnormal it was liver damage casuing these symptoms?

Palmar erythema is a reddening of the palms of the hands affecting the thenar and hypothenar eminences. The soles of the feet are often also affected.

Palmar erythema can be a feature of chronic liver disease, pregnancy, thyrotoxicosis, rheumatoid arthritis, polycythaemia and rarely chronic febrile diseases, chronic leukaemia, or shoulder-hand syndrome.

Palmar erythema may also be the result of dermatoses such as eczema or psoriasis. It may also be a normal finding.

It has been attributed to high oestrogen levels
