Rental snorkel equipment

I recently went on a guided tour that involved snorkeling. Of course I forgot to bring my own gear. Anyway I didn't use the actual snorkel just the mask. Is there any chance I could have caught HCV or any other diseases from the mask. I was in the first tour of the day and the mask was bone dry when I got it. Thanks for helping a worried mind.

No danger of catching HCV. The disease is transferred through blood.

Any other diseases I can't say. Best to check with as many sites as possible for other diseases, but I if you didn't use the snorkel then I don't think STDs are a problem.

There's a lot to be concerned about here. I'd be worried about mites, alopecia, pink eye, stink foot, and a bunch of other stuff. And hemorrhoids too.Good luck. You're gonna need it.

I believe the only ailment picked up by the snorkel would be the coxsackievirus A16.

I would worry about lice and bed bugs.  Maybe you should take a pyrethrin dip

Separated camel toe would be another worry. But probably not, if you didn't use the snorkel.
