Rheumatoid Factor

In 2004 my RF was 50. It is now 27. I am 7 months post tx and 1 and 1/2 months post SVR. I also have a ANA Screen that is positive along with ANA PATTERN that is Speckled and ANA TITER of 1:40.  I guess my question is will this go away with time now that I am SVR. Has anyone else had this and did it go away after achieving SVR.
HCV causes many auto immune problems and I was wondering if they usually resolve themselves after treatment. I don't have any joint problems even though I have had this for a while.

I had a really high RF over 100.  I don't remember the exact number.  My doctor was convinced I had RA, however it was the HCV.  I am going for my blood work at the end of this week, 12 weeks post treatment, and I will let you know if it's gone.  I was thinking about the RF factor myself lately.

Hi Bobby,
I'm learning off you (again!!!) as I thought RF was either positive or negative and didn't give a 'reading' as such.   I know mine was okay, despite have tennis elbos and an inflammed wrist pre-tx (simply disappeared once I started tx).

Are you starting to feel GREAT??  I certainly hope so.  And perhaps you can enlighten me also on "ANA"?   Thanks
