Dyce-- Sorry to hear your not feeling well and tired. Did you have your HGB tested? I can't stress that enough to all who are treating.
On A Pretty-- We are neighbors, I'm in central Fl. How is the recovery going after the storms? As I stated before I had lived in Port St. Lucie durning Jean and Fran and I saw the damage to that area, and it was nothing compared to Mississippi and N.O.

As noted by others, it would really be a drag to see you dose reduce for platelets. I think 50K is a pretty conservative threshold. My doc said he gets concerned at 30K. I was under 50 for most of my tx.
hey guy, hows it going? hadn't seen you post.
Way to go buddy!! I figured as anemic as you got there , the meds were really workin good. 10 more to go , it's down hill from here and I know you'll svr.
Dyce
GREAT news! With all the hgb problems you were having, I figured your body was really good at sucking up those drugs. Hopefully this makes the suffering a little more bearable. Next stop SVR!

I think people on lesser doses of Riba have less reactions than someone like me who is on too much. It's just a name for "overly dried out bumping itching bleeding dying skin that can't go in the sun ever again" ribarash sounds better to me.
on 3rd week of treatment. in regards to ribo rash, I have some bumps on my arms, which I am not sure if they are ribo rash or posin ivy. I was working the garden over the weekend. could someone describe the rash?
thanks
Deb, where are you? I e-mailed you did you get it?
I'm UNDETECTABLE :)
Beagle
allrigthy then!! great news!
I'm UNDETECTABLE.......Wow that is great, so now your not easily seen. Just think of all the things and places you can go and do. But hows that hep-c thing going?
Thanks guys,
All the suffering was worth it all... i'm so excited and after Sun. will have 10 to go.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD YAY I KNEW IT I JUST JUST JUST JUST KNEW ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
OH I CAN'T BREATHE. i REALLY CANT.
Oh my GOD I have to go check my home email. I can't type. Why honestly I think I'm more excited about yours then I was mine. OH my GOD I can't handle it - YAY oh thank you GOD oh my GOD!
I dont know what to say except
I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-p
Oh yay of all the people my friend you have brought so much to so many many people and you got the PRIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH YAY~! I can't stand it!
Im sorry, brain fog here. I thought when you said you were UNDETECTABLE, Well you know how it is. WAY TO GO GUY couldn't happen to a kinder or nicer fellow.
How did this thread change from ribo rash?
Said: while very Golum like,
Oh my GOD I never heard of any comparison quite so perfect in my life! I laughed out loud and will probably get fired but it was worth it :)
Thank you. I needed that today more than EVER
Have I said recently I HATE HATE HATE my job?
As we only have a few new threads a day - threads OFTEN jump around from subject to subject. To be honest - there is only so much that can be said about itching after a while and when someone has FANTASTIC NEWS like that it's SO SO WELCOME it could be posted ANYWHERE and we'd be ecstatic LOL.
On the other hand if someone needed to cry in bad news I would certainly welcome them posting too.
If we had unlimited threads the board would get out of hand but this way it does jump about a bit but it's just the common thing that goes on.
Is that what you were asking when you meant how did it jump?
It jumped for JOY at Beagles news that's what! :)
Timedog-- Sorry, for cutting in ...I was just so excited about getting my tests back and was UNDETECTABLE
About the rash, try GOLD BOND TRIPLE ACTION LOTION EXTRA STRENGHT in the green bottle it worked for me and many on the forum, I have no rash it really works.
TO ALL THANKS, SO MUCH EVERYONE. IT'S BEEN A WILD RIDE BUT WORTH ALL THE SUFFERING TO GET TO THIS POINT.
I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITH OUT ALL THE HELP FROM ALL HERE.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU,
BEAGLE
Just had to say again how VERY happy I am for you! Congrats on your UN-D.
I know I'm so excited. Tonight is #14 for you and for both of us after this week, 10 left. Hope your sxs are mild tonight.
Beagle
Thanks! Yes, tonight is 14.
I am calling it quits at 20 though -splitting the difference between the "old school of thought" of 24 and the "new school of thought" of 12-14 if clear at week 4. So, I have 6 to go after tonight.
I can't wait to get the last box of meds in my hands. Then I will feel as though the end is in sight :) As strange as it may seem, seeing the end in sight has made it that much harder to keep on going. The weeks don't go by fast enough for me! :)
Anyway, treat yourself well tonight. You have worked hard Beagle and it is paying off! Hang in there. We will soon be SVR together! (Along with MANY MANY others!!!!!)
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANOTHER UND this is the year for SVR
way to go!
dee
WOOOOOHOOOOOO! Mr. BB I knew you would be undetectible because of the JimJim study on anemia and suffering! But you don't have much longer to go, and you can hang in there now.
Mrs. O, I know you are relieved as well. It would be worrisome for the enzymes to jump around.
Sadly, at 32/48 I have come so far but I don't think the end will ever come. I just went outside and cut the front yard and I don't know how I will bear the next 16 weeks having to do lawnmower duty. It's in the mid 80's, and I really dread the 90's.
