Well after 5 plus or minus years and 3 tx's I got my 6 month test results, when I first heard the words my mind was in total disbelief after relapsing twice, I was like, “are you for real”, then the tears started to flow, I had already been planning on what my next plan of attack would be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a fricking rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats. I've had the same experience. Two time failure and finally success. I finished tx in May and just last week did my 6 month check-up. It still has not dawned on me.
Actually I haven't got the PCR test results back yet. But I did get the LFTs and they were good AST 23 and ALT 17. In the past my enzymes went right up above normal when I relapsed. This stuff really kicked my *** this time. I am still not right. I really didn'
t think it could happen but I just wanted to try one more time.But I did lose alot this time. My company fired me, my sobority is still shakie. Took alot of pain pills and still having prroblems with that.
Next week I'll get the PCR results but I think its going to be ok.

They've been canceling (dropping) Homeowners Insuarance up here since 04 forcing alot of people to go to Citizen's, which is OK insurance but doesn't payout as well as what I have now, a lot of people I work with got dropped from State Farm last year and had to switch, State Farm wants to cancel Homeowners but keep their auto cause thats where the money is, I told them to tell State Farm to stick up their a$$, same thing I told my ins company, you cancel my Homeowners, go ahead and cancel the auto! Crist doesn't have a frickin clue on what to do about insurance in this state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, it's strange getting the news of svr, DD your right about the relief, I was at my desk and when I saw the number (Dr) I got up and headed for the door and started walking down the street so no one would see me get depressed if the news was bad, when I heard the news I just kept walking and just started crying like a baby, and I don't do that even when I got my a$$ kicked, having this and going thru the battle consumed so much of my time and thoughts over the years, along with family, home, work it was tuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last round really took a toll on my body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had this on my desk so I saw it every day, ""We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it, but sail we must and not drift nor lie at anchor""                   luv to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And never give up hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heartiest congratulations to you!!!!  I do know just where you are coming from, and felt the same way upon getting my 6 month results.  All of the tension and anxiety just drains out of your body, after years of gritting it out, and you just feel total relief...along with the flow of tears!!!  Best of luck to you and enjoy your SVR!!!  You earned it.  You did this, against all odds, and dealt with tremendous adversity and pain.  Now you can do anything you want to do in life.  Tx can teach you how to rise above difficult obstacles and suceed even when the odds are slim.  Congratulations!!
