SVR on Victrelis

Hello,

I'm posting in this forum and in social too!

I just thought I would come back and post my final results.  I was treatment naive and started Victrelis.  I had a less than stellar response for the lead in and wasn't undetected by the date I needed to be and ended up having to do 48 weeks with all drugs up until the very end (didn't have a 1 log drop initially).

I ended my treatment on December 30th and just received my final lab results that the virus is undetected still.  I am officially SVR after 6 months.

I hope this gives someone else courage and hope to finish the treatment even when your initial results are less than great. :)

I'm not SVR anything yet. Only HCV RNA - not detected after 8 weeks from beginning treatment. Still have at least 17 weeks to go of treatment. My genotype is 1b.
