SVR

- below 72 weeks past and present.who have achieved.

If a board is a Representative of its people It would also be fitting to have an ongoing list of people who have achieved a sustain viral response to treatment here on the forum and to show encouragement to others to push on with treatment and to stay focused in the journey. Continue updating list when completing treatment as I am sure the list will grow in the coming months as in the past. Key search word - SVR

Welcome to the Hepatitis C board and hope you will attain your SVR. There are others here participating in the Boceprevir and Telaprevir trials in various treatment arms as well. Good Luck going forward!

Genotype 1b, Started 52 weeks TX 7/13/07, ended 7/18/08, found out I am SVR 1/9/09!!! Yea! Praise the Lord and pass the Guinness!

TX was 52 weeks of 1200micro peg alpha, and 1400mg. Riba which was over 15mg. per kilo. Was UND since week 6 (didn't test any earlier). Had a fairly easy time with the sides, never missed a day of work. Had mild anemia though... My job is half physical and half mental and getting through the brain work was harder. For the physical stuff, I could just go as slow as necessary, but getting the brain to focus was tough.

I lost 20 pounds during TX, but gained 30 back afterwords (it didn't help that I quit smoking half way through), so the next challenge is to loose the pork belly. OK, maybe hold that Guinness...

Correction - that was 180 micrograms of Peg Alpha (how soon we forget)!
